  10. The zip file Mntn3.zip should contain the following files:

  12. Mount3.exe            : Main program file
  13. Mntnhlp.hlp            : Help file
  14. Readme.txt            : This file

  18. Installing the program:

  20. This program is distributed as a Zip compressed file. Unzip the file,
  21. using WinZip, or some other PKZIP compliant decompression utility, into
  22. any directory.

  24. You can freely move the program around, just keep the Help file along
  25. with the main program.

  28. Uninstalling the program:

  30. Should you decide to delete this program, simply delete the files
  31. listed above. That's all there is. No registry entries. No .dll's.
  32. Nothing hidden going on here.

  35. System requirements:

  37. Any computer running Windows95 or WindowsNT 3.51 or later should have
  38. no problems running the Mountain Terrain program. If you do have
  39. any problems, please let me know. See 'Questions, comments, and bugs'

  42. Faster computers will draw the mountains faster, but it has run fine
  43. on every system I've tried out.

  65. This program is Freeware. As such, you may distribute it to as many
  66. people or machines as you choose, just so long as this document goes
  67. with it. I would prefer if you were to distribute it in its original
  68. format (i.e. the Zip file).

  71. the copyright, and all rights associated with it.

  81. This is officially version 3.00 of the Mountain Terrain program.

  83. version 2.0 is a screen saver, and is still a viable product, as this
  84. program fills a completely different function. If you have 2.0, you
  85. might like this, but this will not update your screen saver.

  94. Known bugs:
  95.  
  96. There might be a problem with saving files if you're virtual memory
  97. gets fouled up. Typically this only happens if you have been running
  98. memory intesive applications for a long time without rebooting. Try
  99. again after restarting Windows.

  101. Every time you start the program, the same mountains appear. I honestly
  102. don't know why this happens. It should be random. Later iterations are
  103. random. Who knows? If you have any advice, let me know; this is a real
  104. irritation.
